    HAHHAH. Silly me it says TX US next to your picture of Josh so i assume you are from Texas USofA. your english is very un american, thats why I didnt assume you were from the US. its more UK english. very elequent. Definately no Texas Drawl there. lol. though i do like the Texas accent very much. its sexy. hahahha. LA accent has to be my favorite though Sigh! Joshy talking. I am not as elequent as you. I tend to write the way I would speak. sorry if its confusing. :{

    Tania, apparently the computer has it out for me, as I have attempted to respond 2 times and they just disappear. Do you mind sharing your email address? I don't know the time difference, but I'll try again later. My email is gcak9800@yahoo.com

    Sorry, went on a minivacation. I've been a JG fan for about 6 years I guess, after the first album, but didn't really get hooked until Closer. I have not seen him live yet. My plans are to see 3 different shows with the next tour.

    Thanks for the compliments regarding my writing style, please believe me when I tell you it's written only, I'm all Southern accent!

    I agree with what you said about the fame aspect of the life artist live. Some people don't understand that there is a difference between being alone and being lonely. I couldn't imagine living a life where every new person I met, I'd have to question their motivation for wanting to be my friend. Plus, and this is purely my own opinion, it's been about 3 years since the last publically known relationship he had ended, he needs someone to love, can you imagine trying to sing and compose some of the most romantice music in the world and not being totally consumed by those emotions in your own life. His pain was brutally apparent in Awake, it will be interesting to see what shows up in the new album.

    Sorry it took so long!

    Blessings,
    A

    Yes. I was so sad when i was catching up on Josh through the years and saw him describe the total lack of sympathy that the industry has for a private life. He has been single for a long time, though he does admit to dating. Also I know he keeps in contact with a few special friends from his school etc who will help keep him grounded. I was watching the film Notting Hill, I dont know if you know this film, and explaining it to a Hungarian friend. it is a lot of ordinary people's dream to be famous, but famous people often have the dream of meeting someone ordinary to love. funny really, we always want what we cant have. Grass is greener on the other side of the fence type of thing.
    As you have probably guessed I am English but I live in Hungary. Where are you from? I rediscovered Josh after seeing him on Ally all those years ago, last October. Huge instant fan of course. Have you been a fan long? seen him live????? this is my latest dream, though unlikely.
    I really like the Jason Regge tune, cant remember the name though sorry.

    Hi gcak0800
    I just wanted to say thank you for posting that note to Josh on the 'official please read this' thread about Jason Mraz's journal entry. I had not heard of him before so i went to the site as you suggested and read the diary entry. WOW. it was amazing. there was so much honesty there. Many things he had said were echoed in my brain to snippets of things that Josh has said in various media clips and interviews and I think you were right on the money sending the info to him. I hope he does read that entry, it will be nice for Josh to know that he is not alone in some of his insecurities and difficulties dealing with the fame. You have also introduced me to Jason's music too. Thank you. it was very pretty. (Not Josh of course but nice none the less)
    Thanks again.

    Thanks so much! You know I really think it can be a lonely and often times overwhelming life these guys lead. Sure, it's the life they never dreamed they'd have, but still there's something to be said for the freedom of anonymity. Jason Mraz is pretty great, like you said no Josh, but a different style all together, when I need a little change of pace.

    Blessings,
